Win with Salad Hilowle - Neglinge train depotArt Visualisation
We offer services for artists in public art comissions. Our competence in visualisation, art and architecture allow us to create clear presentations of your artworks. We work together with you to elevate your ideas and increase your chances of winning the commission.
Beyond creating realistic visualisations for your project, as architects we can help you with production questions, detail development and material selection. We can also reason around construction against construction engineers in the project.
Book a free call where we discuss how we can help you increase your chances of winning. In this call we also give you a price depending on the scope of our commission.
If we win together we can help you later in the production stages with drawings, 3D-modelling, material calculations, finding suppliers et cetera. We help you develop production documents as well as produce your artworks in the execution phase of your project.

In many of our commission we challenge ourselves to explore new techniques to elevate both image quality and formal development of your artwork. Together with Hanna and Dick we developed a tool to be able to hand sketch with digital bricks. In collaboration with the artists we then interactively painted the brick pattern seen in the image above over Zoom. We also used newly released AI software to iterate mushroom 3D models until we reached the final versions below. This allowed us to collectively focus our primary interests: exploring ideas and their expression.
Public art sketch commissions often mean tight budgets and many components pieced together for the final presentation. Under these circumstances efficient techniques become indispensible to make our collaborations efficient and smooth. When the craft component of 3D modelling is automated, we gain time to ask the question why. Evaluating ten mushroom models instead of one allows you to make a more informed decision.

We helped Olof Marsja with a series of problems that go beyond pure image making. By approaching our commission from many angles we could increase the precision of the final proposal.
With a 3D model from the architects we could take better decisions for the placement of the sculptures. We developed the idea to position them such that they achieve maximum interaction with their surrounding environment. The proposal was thus strenghtened by giving the sculptures a life-like dimension.
We further developed principal details in dialogue with the artist to describe how the sculptures should be anchored to the ground to prevent them from toppling over.
We also helped visualising a lighting concept to clarify the night time appearance of the sculptures.
“Dream Descriptions were perceptive and responsive which made them quickly absorb and engage with my work. That they further are architects came as a bonus as they could help me with problems outside of my competence as artist.”

Salad Hilowle
Neglinge Train Depot Win
Win with Salad Hilowle - Neglinge train depotWin with Salad Hilowle - Neglinge train depotEach artist and commission is unique. We worked with a completely different set of questions with Salad compared to Olof. We developed a new relief technique for the artist that creates trompe-l'œil from digital photographs. We worked diligently with integrating the reliefs with the architecture, to make the artwork and building form a cohesive unit. After a visit to the site we rejected our initial idea to put the most prominent relief inside the yard, where there is a sight line to the tram station.
The train depot workers told us that long trains would stand parked and obscure this sight line a large portion of the time. We then chose to focus on the urban space depicted above and below. Pedestrians walking by meet the largest relief along with a smaller one in the public space of Neglinge. We also developed principal details for anchoring the reliefs to the structure of the building and visualised a lighting concept.
